therapeutic massage

Hands-on healing is one of the world’s most powerful natural medicines, restoring natural balance by shifting the body into “rest and recharge” mode. Release stress, muscle tension, pain, stiffness, increase circulation, and connect to the essential part of your being through the power of touch.

deep tissue

Deep tissue takes therapeutic massage to the next level. Slow, mindful strokes address congestion in the muscle and fascia to facilitate pain relief and restore proper muscle function. Specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and myofascial release can help resolve injuries, heal chronic pain patterns, and adjust compensatory posture.

anatomy trains structural integration

Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) is a wonderful ‘tonic’ for your posture and movement. Using slow, deep myofascial manipulation applied with anatomical precision, coupled with movement re-education, ATSI unwinds strain patterns in the connective tissue or fascia, restoring the body to its natural balance, alignment, and length.

Typically accomplished through a series of 12 sessions, ATSI aims to facilitate ease in the body’s structure, create a fluid and unrestricted sense of balance and motion, increase breath capacity and awareness, enhance body awareness, and provide freedom from chronic pain.

ATSI springs from the pioneering work of Dr Ida P Rolf, as developed by Thomas Myers. The ATSI ‘recipe’ for Structural Integration is based around the “Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians”, which are explored in a book by Thomas Myers.  For more information, go to www.anatomytrains.com
