Bronwen MacArthur

LIFE COACH

Bronwen offers life coaching for times of transition and choice, when something in life needs to shift or perhaps transform completely. Her coaching emerges from a 30 year career as a dance artist where she spent years studying the nuanced movements, rhythms and timing of the body and how they inform interactions between people. As a performer, creator, collaborator, improvisor and teacher, Bronwen has honed her capacity to listen with body and mind and be ready to respond to what the moment is asking for. This is what Bronwen brings to her coaching.

Bronwen creates space that invites deep inner exploration and asks questions that lead clients to greater awareness and action. She facilitates a process for clients of getting to the heart of the matter, finding clarity in decisions that will lead them to the results they seek.

Bronwen is a graduate of the Transformational Presence Leadership and Coach Training with Alan Seale, founder and director of the Center for Transformational Presence, and is working toward her certification as a Transformational Presence Coach. She has danced with New York and Copenhagen (DK) based companies, performing and teaching throughout Europe, the U.S. and South America. She is founder and director of  MacArthur Dance Project which has produced multimedia dance works and toured nationally and internationally. She served on the faculty of Yale University, Wesleyan University, UMass Amherst, Smith College and Amherst College, among others. Bronwen earned an MFA from Smith College, a BA from Wellesley College and received her early dance training from University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
