My passion is helping people to heal their entire being, inside and out, through health coaching, bodywork and energy work.  I've been an insatiably curious student of the body from a very early age, and it's my passion to share this accumulated knowledge to help people feel their best. We're all sometimes caught up in habits that keep us stuck in sub-optimal patterns, and I love helping people to get un-stuck. Through my own life experiences I've learned (sometimes the hard way) how patterns of thoughts, beliefs and actions or re-actions can keep us spiraling around in an unhappy life. And I've learned many ways to clear these stagnant behaviors and accumulated effective tools to uncover the bright gem of basic humanness underneath.

I've been immersed in the healing arts for over 15 years with a private practice specializing in KMI Structural Integration, Biodynamic CranioSacral, Reiki, deep tissue and orthopedic massage.  I hold a BFA from North Carolina School of the Arts, an associates degree from the Swedish Institute in NYC, and have studied with leaders in the bodywork field including Tom Myers, Roger Gilchrist and Whitney Lowe.

Working so intimately with clients to heal their bodies revealed a further step I could take to help people shift deep down. Clients were suffering from high stress, unhappiness in work or relationships, and having myriad health problems. I started to learn about the tenants of Functional Medicine and a big light bulb went on.  If I could help people change their lives, one choice at a time, we could shift the balance towards their inherent health.

The foundation of many holistic healing methods is "Food is Medicine."  Our diet is the primary way we can positively affect not only our current state of health but our prospects for a long and vibrant life. I've had my own plethora of diet experiments and have explored nutrition topics since I was a teenager. So I dove into the program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories.  Now my passion for the body, nutrition, and all my personal growth work can unite to holistically help people from the inside out.

I'm also a long time yoga practitioner, and am deeply inspired by the principles of Yogic, Tantric and Buddhist philosophies.  I love to dance in my kitchen to great music, eat delicious food, enjoy some red wine, and spend lots of time in nature and my garden.

I can't wait to help you find your inner wellspring of life.
