Krystal Stone

Licensed Massage Therapist

Krystal Stone has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1999 when she graduated from The Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She gained experience working with the Colorado Ballet and University of Colorado Buffaloes Football team. In 2001, she moved to New York City where she has since maintained a thriving private massage therapy practice.

Krystal Stone specializes in a unique muscular therapy style developed over her 20 years of practice. She describes her technique as a Deep Tissue Medical Massage with an Eastern Approach. This includes various medical massage techniques such as neuromuscular, trigger point and myofascial release. She augments these medically based Western techniques with the intuitive, Eastern practices of shiatsu and moving meditation.

Ms. Stone also began her massage therapy teaching career at the Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS) in 2015. She is enthusiastic about sharing her love of massage therapy with her students. She has taught an introduction to deep tissue massage course, called “Western II”, and currently is the instructor of Myology of Postural Alignment Public Safety, and Massage Practicum 1 which includes Shiatsu. Krystal also served as Chair of Research Scholarship and Training for PCHS-NY from 2020-2022. She is currently working on a continuing unit course to teach professional LMT’s at the college in 2024.

One of her greatest accomplishments is receiving her MS in Health Sciences from PCHS and currently serving as Director of Asian Holistic Health and Massage at PCHS-NY.

Along with Ms. Stone’s accomplishments, she also studied dance at Broadway Dance Center-NYC, which eventually led her to yoga. It was through her yoga practice that she was inspired to teach. She received her yoga certification in 2009 from the Integral Yoga Institute and currently provides therapeutic yoga instruction to her private massage clients. She has taught yoga at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in Tribeca as well as Marymount College.

Today, she offers personalized yoga to enhance the benefits of therapeutic massage. She uses the philosophy of yoga practice to influence her as she serves as director, teacher and mover.
